Starves Things Season 5 Trailer Fuels Theories on the possible return of Eddie Munson like Kas

Fans have never stopped hoping for Eddie Munson’s return and the last Stranger things The 5 teaser season has rekindled that fire. A new wave of theories suggests that Eddie could return by becoming a dark version of himself, inspired by Dungeons & Dragons Boning and potentially acting as a Lieutenant who is not dead of Vecna in the battle for Hawkins.

The teaser has no time wasting seeds. We see Dustin Henderson in Eddie’s tomb, where someone has painted “Burn in Hell” spray through the plaque, a brutal reminder that Hawkins still sees Eddie as a bad guy. That shot was excited by fans, especially if combined with other threatening details that seem to connect to the fate of Eddie’s season 4.

Here’s where Dungeons & Dragons He arrives. In the D&D tradition, Kas the Bloody-Handd is the former right arm of Vecna who in the end turns against him. Kas becomes a vampire after being attacked by bats, a detail that strikes near home for Eddie, who died heroically after a brutal demobat attack in the boss.

Eddie’s tattoos, a swarm of bats and a spider of the black widow, now they seem intentional breadcrumbs where it is directed. Add its epic solo “Master of Puppets” and Spiked Shield and you have a character whose aesthetic already screams an unadvantly warrior.

Even the premiere title of season 5, “The Crawl”, seems to have a meaning. Fans indicate the master of puppets Lyric, “come and crawl faster, obey your master”, as a suggestion that Eddie could return as Vecna’s puppet before freeing himself, echoing the betrayal of his master of Kas.

The teaser also launches more visual clues while Max appears in hospital equipment, making fun of his survival and possible transformation, while the turned walls are lined with egg bags, mentioning Vecna that assembles an army.

We also see a return to Hawkins Lab and the iconic Dungeons & Dragons Maps table, reminding us that these final episodes will lean heavily on the mythology of the game, which is exactly where the Kas theory lives.

The Duffer Brothers previously said Eddie was not returning, but the images tell a different story. Among all these things, some fans are convinced that Eddie’s resurrection since Kas could play an important role in the final game of the show.

Whether it’s true or not, one thing is clear … Stranger things He knows how to keep the public theorizes until the end.

Would you like Eddie to return as a dark Lieutenant of Vecna? Or should the death of his hero remain intact?
