In January, Roman Kostomarov’s life was divided into before and after. He was hospitalized with pneumonia, then complications began, sepsis developed and blood circulation was impaired. During the onset of gangrene, both his feet and fingers were amputated. Despite what happened, Roman chose life and is now actively involved in his recovery process. And today it became known that the skater will star in a movie.

Roman will take part in the filming of a documentary series by the online cinema PREMIER, which will tell about the lives of people with prosthetics. Its name will be “Cyborg” and it will consist of three parts. The heroes of the project will tell how they adapted to a new body and will also help those who are just coming to terms with what is happening in their lives. “It is important that such projects are filmed and shown to the audience. First of all, this is a huge support for people who are experiencing a radical change in their lives. This is a project that gives faith in the future and the understanding that there is a way out. “We want to show life as an example for our heroes and at the same time highlight the high technologies that exist in our country,” says producer Makar Kozhukhov about the project.
Now Roman Kostomarov actively communicates with his subscribers. The skater recently posted a photo with her family on a banned social network. He also participated in the ice show of his wife Oksana Domnina.
