The summer of 2023 was so bright and eventful that we still summarize it. One of the most memorable events of August was the young arts festival “Tavrida.ART” held in Kapsel bay near Sudak.
More than 3,500 artists, writers, musicians, actors, designers, directors and choreographers from 87 regions of the country came together right in the heart of the country’s youth and education hub. Within the scope of the festival, venues were presented in five different formats: performing arts festival, cinema, music, Art.Molodist fair and Science as Art festival. Also, the modern ART-EXPO exhibition center was opened and a large-scale art procession was held in the updated format. Popular Russian artists performed on the main stage: SHAMAN, Vanya Dmitrienko, MIA BOYKA, RAMIL, Lesha Svik, ST, Anet Say, Mitya Fomin and other artists and musical groups.
But our fashion department most remembered the paintings of artists selected by a team of stylists under the guidance of Anastasia Gurvich, the chief costume designer of the Tavrida.ART festival. And everything is not so simple here: the clothes had to reflect both the style of the artists and the concept of each musical number. Today we invite you to take a closer look at the best images.
A little romance from Vanya Dmitrienko

Vanya Dmitrienko’s costume is a real example of backyard romance. The combination of street style and soft pink color blends perfectly with the environment from the sports field with decorative flowers and wreaths. The singer wears jeans and a vest made from previously used items using a modern upcycled technique.
White total bows from Factory group members

Members of the Factory group appeared in white suits made of boiled cotton, complete with feathers, bows and flounces. The concept of the room inspired the designers to take this step: Three modern princesses met overnight to tell fortunes about their fiancées. The images of the soloists are an attempt to visually convey the combination of nationality and modernity.
Read “Guest from the Future” by MARI M

The inspiration for the image of MARI M was Alisa Selezneva, the heroine of the mini-series “Guest from the Future”. The story unfolded in a school chemistry class. For this reason, silver is dominant in the room as in the suit. The lace on the singer’s short blouse is reminiscent of the texture of Soviet school uniforms.
Cosmic mood by Victoria Daineko

However, the cosmic image of Victoria Daineko plunges viewers into a parallel world. The singer is on the other side of her lover. The sleeves and the cape made of special material show the difference between the worlds of the separated duo.
