The Independent reports that the California appeals court has reopened the cases of two men who previously accused Michael Jackson of sexual assault. According to them, they were underage then.

Wade Robson and James Safechuck first sued in 2013. However, they were later rejected twice. In 2019, the men detailed what happened in Dan Reed’s Leaving Neverland movie. Two years later, MJJ Productions Inc. and MJJ Ventures Inc. (their owner was Michael Jackson) had no obligation to protect the children in their care.
Ultimately, the Court of Appeal disagreed, arguing that “a company that mediated the sexual exploitation of children by one of its employees was not relieved of its obligation to protect these children simply because it belonged to the perpetrator.”

Meanwhile, the defense said: “We are completely confident that Michael is innocent. These allegations contradict all credible evidence and independent verification. First, it was made only years after Michael’s death, by people motivated only by money.”
Recall that the first rumors that Michael Jackson had sexual relations with underage men appeared in the mid-90s, when the father of 13-year-old Jordan Chandler accused the star of sexual harassment. True, the trial in the case began only in 2003, because, according to rumors, the boy’s parents received compensation for their silence.
