First film by American director Chloe Domont, who made a name for herself directing short films and episodes of series such as Billions, suits: tailor-made lawyers AND dancers, Correctness Done very remarkable beginnings to the prestigious Sundance party.
While the distributors were ripping it offthe worldwide exploitation rights to the film were eventually acquired by Netflix, for the sum of $20 million.
Upon completion of the festival, the film received many positive reviews. Feedback from the American media variety have especially piqued our curiosity about the film :
“Correctness has a lot to say about the post-#MeToo world and have a blast saying it. It’s one of the few Sundance movies that could totally break into the real world. »
Hopefully this mention of post-#MeToo world heralds a less infamous film than 365 days, Netflix’s failed attempt to make an archi-problematic erotic film.
Who are the cast actors?
In addition to its tantalizing synopsis, Correctness attracts attention for its casting. Next to Phoebe Dynevor (Bridgerton) we find the actor Alden Ehrenreichseen in Solo: A Star Wars Story, Beautiful creatures and more recently in Oppenheimerbut also Eddie Marsan (A beautiful end) who plays the head of the newlyweds. The rest of the cast includes Rich summer, Geraldine Somerville, Jim Sturgeon, Sebastián de Souza OR Both Alipur.
