Just published, already number 1. The reprint of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) by Taylor Swift, released on July 7, has already toppled the Billboard 200 chart, and sold 716,000 copies the first week of operation.

First female artist to achieve such a record
Except that already three albums of “Tay-Tay” are in the top 10 of this chart. Midnight (released in 2022) has already risen to fifth place, Lover (which dates from 2019), is at number seven, while Folklore (released in 2020) occupies the tenth position. A far from trivial undertaking, since it is first time in 60 years that a female artist achieves such a record.
Only two artists have managed to have several of their albums in the top 10 of the Billboard 100: the American composer Herb Alpertwith four albums, as well as Princesoon after his death in 2016, with three albums charting for several weeks.
