This week brought an almost month-long fashion marathon to an end. During this time, we managed to look at more than a hundred shows, go on a digital journey in the main fashion capitals, follow the main designer releases and cope with the difficult task of telling about the most important thing without missing anything. Now it’s time to analyze the catwalk images and determine the trends of the next spring summer season. The 10 main trends of 2026 were collected in our material.

Chloé SS26 -
Alaïa SS256 -
Balenciaga SS26
Trend: cup top
One of next season’s most obvious trends is the crop top, which we saw from Pierpaolo Piccioli in Balenciaga’s debut collection and on Chloé’s catwalk and the Alaïa show. In fact, there were many more cropped tops—Tagwalk’s analysts collected more than 200 images from one Paris fashion week alone. By the way, interpretations of the crop top are completely different: some designers rely on minimalism, others on geometry, others on color, and the fourth on texture.

Gabriela Hearst SS26 -
Alaïa SS26 -
Loewe SS26
Trend: eaves
Another important place in the list of trends for the third year in a row is a fringe. Alaïa is fond of designer teams from Balmain, Chanel, Dior, Loewe, Gabriela Hearst, Lanvin and many other brands. By the way, the interpretation of the trend is different for everyone, but we were most impressed by Loewe’s “drilling” skirts by Jack McCallou and Lazaro Ernandes.

Ferragamo SS26 -
Versace SS26 -
TOD SS26
Trend: yellow
The color yellow is quickly catching up with the fashion industry. If last season there was a butter shade in trend, now the design workshop offers to use the entire palette. For example, we see images of a bright lemon color in the Ferragamo show, in Tod’s show, in a mustard shade, and in the Versace Dario Vitale-A-gentle yellow dress collection.

Alaïa SS26 -
Givenchy SS26 -
Balenciaga SS26
Trend: ruffle
Despite the global trend for minimalism, designers are increasingly using ruffles and ruffles in images. This season, the emphasis is definitely on the first, and we give lukes from shows by Chanel, Alaïa, Balenciaga, Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, McQueen and Miu Miu as proof.
even shorter
-
Conner Ives SS26 -
Fendi SS26 -
Prada SS26
Trend: Micro-Shortes and Skirts
Maxi, MIDI and even mini length is no longer surprising. For several seasons in a row, the Design Workshop has been voting in favor of Micro’s dangerous length. On the catwalk, we see very short shorts (in the spirit of the main icon Anghelishka Zumers) and low-cut skirts. Most importantly, we connected with Prada, Fendi, MSGM, Conner Ives and Dilara Findikoglu.

Ferragamo SS26 -
Dolce & Gabbana SS26 -
Boss SS26
Trend: multilayer
One of the main trends of Milan Fashion Week is the whimsical layering. For example, at the Boss Show, we are offered to wear two shirts at once, at the Dolce & Gabbana show, we see a combination of a lace T-shirt with a classic shirt and a jacket, but we notice a style “POLO + divers” in the air from the Ferragamo collection.

Altuzarra SS26 -
Calvin Klein Collection -
Prabal Gurung SS26
Trend: Articulated displaced line
But one of the key observations of New York Fashion Week was an unexpected twist on the usual proportions. In the collections of Prabal Gurung, Altuzarra and Calvin Klein Collection, designers experiment with the position of the waistline and reduce it to just below the usual level. Most often, this is done with the help of a belt on trenches, coats or dresses. In general, the trend can be easily repeated at home.

Nanushka SS26 -
Dara Findikoglu SS26 -
Edeline Lee SS26
Trend: high collar
This season, it turns out that London designers are obsessed with high necklines (apparently the weather still dictates the rules). Moreover, they are used not only in everyday images, but also in the evening. A striking example is Dara Findikoglu, Erdem and Edeline Lee. However, our personal form-favorite appeared in the Nanushka Show-A satin jacket, a milky tone with a collar stand and double zipper.

Bottega Veneta SS26 -
Boss SS26 -
Fendi SS26
Trend: skin
Every autumn, leather goods return to fashion: jackets, vests, shirts, trousers or trenches. And if last year the ball ruled AYTEMS from the older skin, this season the classic took part. As in the shows of Boss, Bottega Veneta, Fendi, Ferragamo and Gucci. By the way, in the case of this trend, you can safely focus on a podium – it is most relevant for everyday life.
Horizontal and vertical?
-
Ann DeMeulemeester SS26 -
Anteprima SS26 -
Casablanca SS26
Trend: strips
A stripe print has long been a classic, but it will be especially relevant next season. Moreover, the strip can be very different: thin or thick, horizontal or vertical, solid color or very bright.
