Special: Channel 5 owned by Paramount is green Chernobyl Disaster, Three years after the premiere of the award-winning Sky/HBO miniseries, it promises to be “the final facet of the Chernobyl disaster timeline.”
Channel 5 favorite Ben Foggle directs three episodes to air this month, and he also hosts the same network. Inside Chernobyl with Ben Fogel in 2020.
Using archival footage and expert interviews, the show shifts each milestone of the mid-1980s disaster to unprecedented impact and power in the world, just after the massive but deeply flawed construction of the factory itself. Over the next 36 years, including the latest threats of Russian occupation to the facility. Sections will be named Fusion, firestorm Y Ჩ Removed.
Participants include a helicopter pilot involved in firefighting and liquidators who risk their lives to decontaminate nuclear waste.

The green light comes three years after Sky/HBO Chernobyl Stellan Skarsgდისrd with Emily Watson and Jared Harris lit up television screens around the world, winning numerous awards and lauded for their ultra-realistic portrayal of tragic events.
Last week, Paramount hired respected British executive Federico Ruiz as the de facto and unwritten editor of Paramount+/Channel 5.
