Quick and easy lemon cake recipe
To make this recipe you will need:
- 200 g of flour
- 100 g of sugar (and another 50 g for the syrup)
- 3 eggs
- 100 g of melted butter
- 50 g of liquid cream
- 2 lemons
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 5 cl of water
Okay, do you have all the ingredients? Go skip, let’s go my kiki (I’m an old person, leave me with my expressions).
First of all, preheat the oven to 180°C. Then, in a bowl, mix the egg with the sugar until a nice foam is formed. Add it creamTHE melted butterTHE zest and the juice of one lemon. Once done, you can add the file Flour and the yeast.
Butter the bottom of a cake mold (or line it with baking paper), and cook everything 45 minutes in the oven.
While it’s cooking, it’s time to prepare the syrup. Don’t panic, it’s very easy! In a saucepan, heat the 50 g of sugar more with the water AND the juice of the second lemon, for a few minutes. Once the cake is cooked, you just have to cover the cake with it, leaving it in its mold.
