The sequel to Tim Burton’s cult movie Beetlejuice comes out 36 years after the original movie premiered. Deadline reports that the fantasy comedy will hit worldwide box office hits on September 6, 2024.
Michael Keaton will return as Beetlejuice, while Winona Ryder will reprise her role as Lydia Dietz. Wednesday star Jenna Ortega will also appear in the film. She took on the role of Lydia’s daughter. Also, Justin Theroux is in the cast, but it is not yet known who he will play.
The sequel will be filmed in London this summer. Tim Burton will return as director. This means that something mysterious, funny and unusual awaits us.
Recall that “Beetlejuice” is a movie about the “exorcist of the living” who advises ghosts trying to exterminate “living” tenants from their homes.
