Especially for schoolchildren, the federal project “Ticket to the Future” created the first online career guidance city in Russia, where dreams turn into professions. Ten days after launch, Profigrad welcomed more than 16,000 attendees, and on May 9, schoolchildren will find out what their peers dreamed of in the 1940s and kick off a festive fireworks display.
“Ticket to the Future” is an all-Russian state project on career guidance for schoolchildren and helps young people solve such a difficult task as choosing a career. It brings together tens of thousands of mentors, psychologists and experts. Currently, more than 1 million 300 thousand schoolchildren have participated in the project in total.
Nine regions are represented in Profgrad, reflecting the main economic areas. Every week in Profigrad there are new tasks for residents in the formats of games, quizzes, surveys and virtual professional trials. A young person who wants to take part in the project can contribute to the transformation of Profigrad into a developed city of Russia by replacing experts in various fields. The mission of the city is one – to help every young person find their way.
“We can safely say that Profigrad claims to be the first project of its kind aimed at promoting career guidance among young people using clear and bright game mechanics. We will choose a game currency, find a smart city manager, invite celebrities to become professional notaries, and in the Ticket to the Future project Together with hundreds of thousands of participants, we will explore the possibilities of the Education national project.” said the press service of the project.
Just today, you can try out the role of a tourism manager to help a young family plan a trip, or visit an agronomist’s place and grow a crop. Soon 400 different and new professions will be available for research.
