EXCLUSIVE: Filmmakers Janeen and Michael Damian have entered into a three-film directing and production deal with Brad Krevoy’s Motion Picture Corporation of America, MPCA CEO Krevoy announced Wednesday.
The Damians, perhaps best known for their work on a number of holiday-themed projects, have previously collaborated with Krevoy on titles such as Monthans Alexander, A princess for Christmas, The sweeter side of life, A royal Christmas, wreath for Christmas, The Christmas Waltz And Fall in love with Christmas.
The latest film directed by Janeen and produced by Michael for Netflix, starring Lindsay Lohan opposite Chord Overstreet in her first return to the rom-com genre in over a decade, was the streamer’s top-rated holiday film of 2022 in the USA. UNITED STATES.
The new list of Damians with MPCA is at the top of the Lohan-led Netflix rom-com Irish wishdirected by Janeen and produced by Michael, for a 2024 release. The second on the list is Paris Christmas Waltza sequel to the Lacey Chabert starrer The Christmas Waltz, which had Hallmark’s best Christmas movie premiere of 2020. The production of this film will begin in June in Europe and casting is underway. And then there is A sound of Christmas musicwhich will be filmed on location in Austria next year.
