A Russian woman has been arrested after she dressed her cat to look like a baby to hide her drug-laced clothes.
After raising suspicion, the mother and her two children were questioned by police in the Russian city of Nizhny Tagil.
The woman was walking her young daughter in the recreation area, apparently with a baby in a stroller.
After being intercepted by the police, officers found that the young family was not quite what they seemed, instead of a baby they spotted something with feline features.
Despite the admittedly ingenious attempt to smuggle the drugs, the ingenious plan eventually failed and small packets of narcotics were pulled piece by piece from the cat’s thick clothes.

The police continued to remove small packages from the package as the stunned and innocent cat lay sprawled on the table.
In a later section, layers of baby clothes were peeled off the animal one by one.
It eventually turned out that the cat was even wearing a diaper and little baby boots.
The cat’s “mother” was later arrested by officers, handcuffed and sullenly locked in a small cell.
It is not known whether the police were informed about the woman and her kitten, or whether they were able to determine anything was wrong.
