If you like bright images, love combining colors correctly. This unspoken rule must be learned for sure by anyone who wants to dress stylishly and not look like a Christmas tree at a children’s party.
At the very beginning of the spring season, we wrote an article in which we identified five trend color combinations from the latest fashion weeks. The list of favorites includes harmonious duets of lilac and herb, cobalt and black, blue and pink, gray and yellow, green and beige.
But we decided not to stop here and collected five more colors that are better not to mix. At least this season.
Tiffany + black

We (and a significant half of the fashion community) associate tiffany’s combination with black to a failed collaboration between the Tiffany brand and sports giant Nike. The mix of shades looks heavy and completely incompatible. Therefore, we recommend replacing the shade of blue with a rich blue.
red + purple

Red and purple are on the list of trend colors of this season. But they don’t look as cool in a duet as they do individually. Therefore, we propose to abandon attempts to “make friends” from two saturated shades and replace red with orange. The combination of sun color with purple will be much more advantageous.
blue + green

We immediately point out that in this case everything depends on the shades of blue and green. If both colors belong to a muted palette, you should not mix them. You will immediately get an image that fully complies with the school dress code. We recommend diluting the outfit with beige so that the result does not look too dark.
yellow + orange

The brand’s creative director, Francesco Risso, clearly showed that in Marni’s spring-summer collection, yellow and orange can be combined in a single image quite harmoniously. However, outside the podium, the combination of two sunny shades is still controversial, especially if the emphasis is on them. In this case, we would replace the orange with gray to get a more interesting combination.
pink + turquoise

The Barbicore aesthetic is of course on trend right now, but you shouldn’t overdo it with doll shadows. If turquoise and pink items are “weakening” in your wardrobe, then wearing them together is strictly contraindicated. The only exceptions are themed events and EDM parties. We recommend replacing turquoise with red, such a union will be read many times better.
