A British woman has been killed and an Italian man seriously injured after a motorbike they were riding collided with another vehicle in a Portuguese coastal town.
A warning for the accident on the National Road (EN) 109 in Quintaã, in the municipality of Vagos, was issued on Monday at 21.08.
The police and ambulance crews responded to the call.
The tragedy came a day after a British cyclist died in a crash in Spain.
The 69-year-old died as a result of his injuries after falling off a bicycle on a road in the municipality of Turre, near Almeria in the southeast of the country.

Quinta, in the municipality of Vagos, is located on the coast about 90 km south of Porto
The incident happened around 10:30 near a local fire station.
Attempts to save his life at the scene were unsuccessful.
A 66-year-old man who lives nearby was arrested shortly after the incident and was tried yesterday on suspicion of manslaughter and failure to stop at the scene.
He was released on bail while the investigation continued.
