DGA members address strong pension and health care benefits as contract negotiations loom – watch video

The DGA, which will start contract negotiations on May 10, stresses the importance of “ensuring reliable pension provision to ensure access to leading health care”. In a video of DGA members talking about the retirement and health care benefits they receive, the guild says, “We’re fighting for our future.”

With a view to upcoming negotiations with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers promises to be “one of the most difficult and complex in many years”, according to the DGA: “This year’s negotiations are about more than negotiating a strong treaty for the next three years – they are about setting the course for the future, our industry and to ensure the sustainability of hundreds of thousands of quality union jobs.”
