About two months ago, the first part of the material on fashionable shoes was published on The Fashion Vibes. Then our fashion department recommended paying attention to Sweaters, platform boots, moccasins and Tyrolean boots. And now, when the weather is noticeably nicer, first-season shoes can be safely replaced with something more summery.

This season, the design store’s collective unconscious is betting on pointy-toe slingbacks (including a curved heel), flats (because no one canceled the ballet performance), and of course Mary Jane shoes (which bring back childhood).

In recent seasons, a trend code-named balletcore has become particularly popular. We wrote about this phenomenon in November last year. At the same time, Lyst selected bow and foot strap Miu Miu ballet flats as their best-selling product for the third quarter of 2022. And these stats say the flirtatious model will be with us for more than a season at least.

Mary Jane shoes made their way back into the fashion scene nearly two years ago, becoming a fashion show goer in 2022 and literally taking over social media streams this year. Naive kids’ shoes with a round toe and smooth straps adore Tyler The Creator, Harry Styles, Bella Hadid, and hundreds (if not thousands) of fashion phenomena. By the way, designers present completely different versions of the iconic model on the catwalk. For example, Versace’s “Mary Jane” came out with a touch of punk, Marni’s – subtly feminine yet Prada’s – with a cowboy vibe (all thanks to the sloping heel).

Curvy heels are another striking trend of the season. We’ve seen current options at Bottega Veneta, Ferragamo, The Row and Tory Burch over the past fashion weeks. And we believe such a model is ideal for both the office look and the date outfit.

You may love clogs, you may hate them, but the fact that they are everywhere now is impossible to deny. We recommend that you take a closer look at this model, at least because it is very comfortable. But you can easily see the style numbers in the latest collections from Etro, Dhruv-Kapoor and Chloe.

Did you miss the transparent shoes? Then we have good news because they are returning to the fashion scene after a five-year hiatus. In the late 2010s, the main ambassadors of the trend were the Kardashian-Jenner sisters, who walked their Yeezy shoes with transparent bridges at every opportunity. And now the fashion community dreams of couples from the latest collections of Loewe, Simone Rocha and Rokh.

We said that the minimalism of the 90s has once again crossed the line of trends this season, and that the flip-flops, which were admired by all fashionistas of that era, came back to our lives thirty years ago. Now shoes with stripes between the toes have changed a little – the designers “played” with the details, the platform and the sole. And Miuccia Prada presented the gladiators in an entirely new reading.
