Choupette, the furry muse of the late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, was invited to the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Met Gala on May 1. This was reported by the New York Post.
The annual event this time will be dedicated to the legacy of its owner. This information was confirmed by the cat’s advertising agency Lukas Beruli.

“This event is in honor of Carl’s legacy, and Choupette is clearly the most important part of it,” said Beruli. It is not yet known what role the pet will play in the series.
“Probably the best way to show off the role of Choupette is to invite her to the runway alone or with the most influential celebrity like Beyoncé. Or maybe she’ll be joined by Lagerfeld’s bodyguard, Sebastien Jondeau,” said fashion illustrator Michel Baron.

The cat came to the fashion designer in 2011, but the first owner of the animal was designer Baptiste Giabiconi. Following Lagerfeld’s death in 2019, Choupette became the owner of Carl’s former maid, Françoise Casot. The loving owner left a legacy of $200 million (almost 16.5 billion rubles) to her beauty. We envy Choupette but not from the bottom of our hearts
