David Beckham’s training program launched, inspired by his football career

Football idol and actor David Beckham takes it in a new light.

Beckham and Hollywood coach Gunnar Peterson have developed a new F45 drill that will start on Wednesday. The DB45 workout is a football-inspired 11-point cardio lesson that combines the exercises Beckham has used in his football career. Versatile Drills Users must complete two sets at each station, moving through the “Follow the Leader” format to stations that represent typical football positions, including goalkeeper, defense, midfield and attack.

As for the key numbers of Beckham’s football career, the deadlines set will alternatively be after 32 seconds of work, 15 seconds of rest and 23 seconds of work, followed by 20 seconds of rest. Users will perform the final finisher with 7 x 30 seconds of bodyweight training.

“For me, team training has always been my favorite way of training and my DB45 program is influenced by the training I did as a professional footballer,” Beckham said, using the British term for football. “F45 always brings innovative and effective workouts into the timeline and I’m thrilled that the F45 community can finally challenge me.”

The DB45 will be available in all F45 studios worldwide every Wednesday 11-25 May.
