Jeremy Renner’s first interview since crash: “It’s my fault and I paid the price”

At the beginning of the year, Jeremy Renner had a serious accident. “These 30+ broken bones will heal and strengthen like my bond with my family and friends,” the actor later said of his condition. The previous day, the Marvel star gave a big interview for the first time after the tragedy.

In a conversation with an ABC News reporter, Jeremy admitted that he blames himself for what happened. The fact is, after he and his nephew got the car out of the snow, Alex broke the chain between the two cars and Jeremy was in the snowplow at the time. Renner feared for Alex’s safety as he started to slide on the ice, so he took one foot out of the vehicle to look around, but forgot to apply the handbrake. As a result, Jeremy stumbled and fell off the snowplow. “You shouldn’t be outside the car when you’re driving, you know what I mean? It’s like driving with one foot out of the car. But that’s what happened. And it was my fault and I paid the price,” he said.

Jeremy explained that as soon as he tried to jump into it again, it was all. “Then when I fell under this thing, I screamed (we’re talking about a snowplow – Approx Ed.): “Not today, son of a bitch!” – that’s what I shouted. Sorry for the expression,” he said.

“Eight ribs were broken in 14 places. Broken right knee, right shoulder, right ankle, broken left shin, left ankle, right collarbone. The face, orbital socket, chin, lower jaw are broken. Lung collapsed. Your liver is pierced by a rib – it sounds scary, ”said the presenter (hard to disagree with him).

But it seems that now the worst is over. The actor was recently discharged from the hospital. Now he is actively engaged in restoration. We wish the player a speedy recovery!
