Melissa Iqbal’s Adaptation of ‘Never Let Me Go’ Series in Works on FX

Ა never leave meKazuo Ishiguro’s novel, which has been adapted into a film starring Carrie Mulligan, Keira Knightley and Andrew Garfield, has been adapted into a TV series.

The project is in development and coming in FX never Author Melisa Iqbal.

As children, Katie, Ruth and Tommy were students at Hailsham School, a private boarding school outside England. It was a place of mercury clicks and mysterious rules, where teachers constantly reminded their accusers how special they were. Now, years later, Katie is a young woman. Ruth and Tommy re-entered her life. And for the first time, she begins to look at their shared histories and understand what makes them special and how that gift has shaped the time they spend together.

It comes from DNA Films, which created the film version, and Searchlight TV, the film company that released the film.

Released in 2010, the film was directed by Mark Romanek and written by Alex Garland.

Producers will be Akbal, Alon Reich and Andrew McDonald.
