Former Netflix CEO Jennifer Provencher has been appointed SVP of Business Affairs. She will focus on business and legal matters for MPCA films and series. In addition to serving as Director of Business and Legal Affairs at Netflix, Provencher was previously VP, Business and Legal Affairs at Shine America, now known as Endemol Shine North America.
Courtney Colman has been appointed CFO. She was the CFO of several companies including XPRIZE Foundation, Mob Scene and Gold Circle Films and before that she was SVP Finance and Business Development at CBS Films and VP Participations at Sony Pictures Entertainment. As CFO of MPCA, she will oversee strategic planning, accounting, finance, budgeting and forecasting,
Veteran producer Amy Krell has also returned to MPCA and will continue to oversee film and television projects from LA and locations around the world. Krell joined MPCA as a freelance producer in 2010 and became a full-time producer in 2016. She has worked on more than 60 of the company’s films as producer, executive producer, executive producer, executive producer of the DGA unit and executive producer.
“All three of these exceptional leaders have proven invaluable to the company,” MPCA CEO Krevoy said in a press release. “Jennifer’s reputation on Netflix really preceded her. In its four decades in the film, television and streaming industry, MPCA says it has earned more than $1.5 billion in global revenue. The company increasingly focuses on family-friendly content and supplies titles to Peacock, CBS, Netflix, Paramount, Hallmark Channel, Amazon and other outlets. It produced the Netflix original film Fall in love with Christmas with Lindsay Lohan, as well as Netflix The Christmas Prince trilogy, The princess counter trilogy and Vacation in the wilderness with Rob Lowe and Kristin Davis.
Top drama When does the heart call? returns for its 10th season on Hallmark in July and was recently renewed for an 11th season.
