Insider Jeff Sneider said The hot mic podcast that the untitled Indiana Jones spin-off series has been shelved, and Disney has reportedly told Lucasfilm to instead focus on its upcoming Star Wars projects instead.

The report comes after news broke last week that the streamer has cancelled Willow, the sequel series to Lucasfilm’s 1988 fantasy film of the same name. The Willow showrunner has since stated that the series has not been canceled and that they are writing a second season.

Who knows what’s going on over there at Disney+? Maybe a Indiana Jones series will happen one day after all. I know fans would be happy to see Ke Huy Quan back as Short Round!
