The new names of Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Men’s Health and Home magazines have been announced.
Independent Media Holding has recorded new titles for Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Men’s Health and Home.
According to the Roskomnadzor registry, Cosmopolitan was renamed Cosmagazine, Domashny Ochag became Novy Ochag, Esquire became Rules of Life, and Men’s Health became Men Today. All mass media are registered as print media, suggesting that magazines will continue to exist only in the form of online versions.
According to Peopletalk, not all games have yet been confirmed by American Hearst.
Earlier, the CEO of Independent Media, Natalya Vesnina, told the publication about the plans of the holding to continue publishing magazines under new names.
The renaming is due to the Hearst holding revoking the licenses of its brands from the Russian publishing house on the backdrop of a military special operation in Ukraine. The suspension of work in Russia was also announced in Condé Nast (Vogue, GQ, Tatler, Glamour).
