Eva Longoria is producing and directing the American Hispanic version of “Call My Agent!”

Paris-based Mediawan, Elefantec Global and Eva Longoria’s UnbeliEVable Entertainment have teamed up to co-produce a Spanish-language US version of the hit series Call my agent!.

In addition to producing the show as founder and CEO of UnbeliEVable Entertainment, Longoria will also direct the first two episodes.

Longoria has directed more than a dozen TV series under her name and recently made her feature film debut Shining hotwhich had its world premiere at SXSW.

“Like so many people around the world, I’ve been a huge fan of the original series since it first came out,” Longoria said.

“I am thrilled to partner with Mediawan and Elefantec Global to present one of the largest properties bringing a witty and satirical behind-the-scenes look at the entertainment industry to the Spanish market.”

Pepe Baston, CEO of Elefantec Global, said of Longoria: “Created with Latin flair for a global audience, we are confident that this iteration will find success and viewers around the world.”

The original version of Call my agentillustrating the world of celebrity agents at a top talent agency in Paris, first aired by France Télévisions to record audiences for four seasons before being acquired by Netflix and gaining international fame.

The series has already been adapted by Mediawan subsidiary Palomar for a number of other territories, including Turkey, Great Britain and most recently Italy.

The original series was produced by Mediawan Group’s Mon Voisin Productions and Mother Productions labels.
