Every year, on May 9, the whole country celebrates the Great Holiday – Victory Day. In honor of such an event, the Immortal Regiment campaign is held in all cities of Russia, where everyone takes to the streets with portraits of participants in the Great Patriotic War.
This year, in addition to the traditional parade, people in all foreign countries honoring the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War take to the streets and march in the Immortal Regiment with portraits of their veterans.
It should be noted that within 10 days applications for the online procession were accepted, each moderated. More than 1.2 million surveys from different parts of Russia and the world were put into a single database of the online parade.
All submissions go to a single line of the Immortal Regiment online in Red Square. The online procession broadcast will take one day.
