In Maubeuge, the suicide of Laurence De Schepper would actually be a feminicide

Several complaints closed without follow-up

The deceased’s family never believed in the theory of suicide, and from the very beginning of the investigation they proved convinced of the guilt of their partner. This caregiver has been fired twice on suspicion of patient abuse and was sentenced to six years in prison for raping his ex-wife in 2015.

Laurence de Schepper herself had filed several complaints against him, which were rejected. For his part, the suspect formally denies having murdered his former partner.
