Dan Baime leaves ICM to launch a management company with John Cena as a client; Lara Sackett will succeed him as co-director of the production department

ExclusiveDan Beime, a 25-year-old agent, partner and head of production at ICM Partners, leaves the agency business for management. He starts his own management company, Try Management, where his longtime client, John Senna, is Try’s first client. ICM agent and partner Lara Locke has been promoted to take on the role of Bame as co-head of the production department, along with her partner Paul Hooke, who has worked in the field for a long time, and Janet Carroll Norton.

Baime, who joined the manufacturing division of ICM, held an unusual double position; He has also been a Canaan scorer for the past 18 years, after the then 30-year-old fighter retired from the ring. In a close relationship that somewhat resembled a talent and a manager, Baime achieved Senna’s rise with best-selling movie deals, TV / streaming scripts, and reality stars. Aside from Baime’s unusual role in his career, Senna had never had a manager before.

“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work with my dear friend John Senna and develop a bold vision for the future,” said Beim. “I am very grateful for the great support of all my colleagues, especially in the production department, who I respect and recognize as the best in the business.”

The manufacturing department of ICM is one of the Agency’s most valuable assets, which is being acquired with the approval of the AAC regulators, along with other important areas such as sports and books. The production / representation of the line is also an area where the overlap between two agencies is limited.

Lock is an 8-year veteran of ICM Partners, with a solid client list that includes many Academy Award and Emmy Award winners and nominees.

“The manufacturing department at ICM Partners is extraordinary and it is an honor to share the leadership role with Paul Hooke and Janet Carroll Norton,” said Sackett. “I truly appreciate everything Dan has done to establish our department and I am very fortunate to continue working with such a special group of agents and customers.”

Ted Cherwin, CEO of ICM Partners, spoke about Beym’s departure and the promotion of the lock.

“Danny has been a great colleague and although we are saddened by his departure, we wish him every success as a manager,” he said. “Lara is universally respected and it was an easy decision for her to step down as a leader in our world-class manufacturing department.”
