Keira Knightley doesn’t give interviews very often, but sometimes it does. The actor appeared on the new cover of Harper’s Bazaar UK and also made statements to reporters.

The Hollywood star admitted that in the early years of her career she was very “tired” and very demanding of herself.

“I was incredibly strict with myself,” admits the actress. “I was very ambitious and determined. I always tried to be better, to improve, which is very tiring,” says the Hollywood star.

He also stated that he initially had a hard time coping with popularity. Even before “Pirates”, the actor played in two films that were quite significant for his professional career – “Robin Hood’s Daughter: Princess of Thieves” and “Bend It Like Beckham”, which brought her some fame. In an interview, she admitted that she felt “confined” during the filming of “Pirates of the Caribbean” because she had previously only acted as a “tomboy”. “The following roles have been associated with attempts to get out of this situation. There was a feeling that I was locked in a cage that I did not understand, ”says the actress.

Recall that Kira is married to 39-year-old British musician James Righton. The couple has been together since 2013. Together they have 7-year-old daughter Edie and 3-year-old Delilah. In a conversation with reporters, she admits that combining work and motherhood was not easy for her. “I realized that I needed three full-time employees (as assistants-Approx. Ed.) to do what a parent does,” she shares.
