Jill Biden said on CNN’s State of the Union today that her 80-year-old husband, Joe, would “never discuss anything like this,” calling it “ridiculous.”
The comments were made by Jill Biden in an excerpt released Sunday. The full interview will air Monday at 9pm ET on CNN.
Jill Biden cited the president’s recent trip to Ukraine as evidence of his perseverance and focus.
“How many 30-year-olds can travel to Poland, get on the train? Nine hour drive, drive to Ukraine, meet President Zelenskyy? She said. So look at the man. Look what he does. Look what he does every day.”
Joe Biden is reportedly preparing for another presidential bid in 2024. If elected, he would be 82 years old at his inauguration.
