Due to the Russian Federation’s military special operation in Ukraine, the UK has imposed sanctions on a number of Russian media, journalists and businesses.
The list of sanctions includes TV presenters Nailya Asker-zade and Mikhail Leontiev, as well as war correspondents Yevgeny Poddubny, Alexander Kots and Dmitry Steshin, head of Otkritie bank Mikhail Zadornov, vice president Maxim Oreshkin and Deputy Minister of Defense Nikolai Pankov. Also on the list were the VGTRK TV company, the InfoRos and SouthFront information portals, and KamAZ.

The sanctions include an entry ban and the blocking of all UK assets (if any).
In addition, the UK has imposed restrictions on Russian companies’ use of the services of British firms in areas such as public relations, accounting and consulting management.
