EXCLUSIVE: JoJo Siwa has signed on to work with Jade Pettyjohn (Small fires everywhere) in the horror thriller All my friends are dead of seen in 3D Author Marcus Dunstan.
Film Mode has international rights and buys the film from EFM. We are aware that deals have already been closed in Germany and the Benelux countries (Splendid), in the Middle East (Falcon) as well as in Malaysia and Thailand (Film Frame).
Casting is underway and the film will begin shooting in Canada this spring, with Dunstan directing from a script by writers Josh Sims and Jessica Sarah Flaum.
John Baldecchi (Happy death day And Happy death anniversary 2U) creates the photo. Dominic Ianno (soul surfer), Jason Resnick (kidnapped) and Kevin Greutert (SAW franchise) are executive producers along with Film Mode Entertainment’s Clay Epstein and Budding Equity CEO Dan Rubin.
The pic follows a group of close-knit colleagues who make a great Airbnb for the biggest music festival of the year at a bargain price. A weekend of partying quickly takes a turn when members of the group are murdered one by one. They soon discover that each of their deaths corresponds directly to one of the seven deadly sins.
“I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the upcoming All My Friends Are Dead movie,” said Siwa. “This is a project so different from anything I’ve done before. I love horror movies though and can’t wait to start producing! I also look forward to working with Jade again. We worked together when we were younger and we can’t wait to make this film together.”
