However, in recent seasons the era of a total revision of values ​​has also touched eternity. Designers began to skillfully flirt with large pockets, which, like a tote bag, can fit a whole life and even more.

It all started on September 22nd last year when Miuccia Prada presented a thousand and one solutions for big pockets for the Miu Miu show, from inserting leather vests to stacked mini skirts. And then everything went like clockwork: fashion masters Louis Vuitton, Loewe, Coperni, Diesel, Sacai and not only caught a wave of utility and pragmatism.

Also, for Burberry, for example, Riccardo Tisci provided a translucent, maxi-length evening dress with XL pockets, which means only one thing. The trend quickly covered absolutely all styles. Not without reason, already in October last year, patch pockets were seen in the spring-summer collection of Vera Wang, who gained worldwide fame with her wedding dresses.

It is worth noting that some designers took the trend to the extreme – remember the same Marine Serre show, where pockets played the role of more extravagant decorative details. However, in the global situation, we are dealing with a new look at practicality, and this, of course, is much more pleasing. As they say, waist bags have passed the mail and XL pockets are accepted. And the role reversal happened so quickly that the same Miu Miu miniskirts are already flaunting in top fashion phenomena.
