ISIS has called for attacks on Christians around the world after the Koran book burned in Sweden.

According to a February 6 report by the Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center, the terrorist group launched a campaign calling for attacks on Christians.

Videos and messages have circulated on social media calling on Islamists to carry out attacks around the world, especially in Europe.

An ISIS-affiliated Telegram channel published messages calling for attacks on Christians around the world, stating that Muslims should view the burning of the Koran as an affront to religion and urging “the blood of the perpetrator to take.” dumped ‘to forget it’.

It was emphasized that all Muslims must protect their religion if they want to go to heaven and that they must act according to the peer-to-peer principle.

The announcement of the campaign against Christians comes after the Koran burning in Sweden by Rasmus Paludan, a Danish-Swedish politician and leader of the far-right party, as part of a demonstration in the capital Stockholm against Turkey and Islam on 21 January. .

Paludan burned the Islamic holy book in front of the Turkish embassy, ​​angering Turkey, which subsequently said it would not support the Scandinavian country’s bid for NATO membership.

Since then, protests have taken place in a number of Muslim countries, just three days after crowds of Afghan men condemned the January 24 incident in Khost, a town bordering Pakistan.

In a statement the day after the book was burned, on January 22, the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the Swedish government to “punish the perpetrator” and “such heinous and provocative anti-Muslim and anti -Muslim acts” to stop.

According to one of the reports in the light of ISIS’s media campaign, more than 20 Christian civilians were killed on January 23 in a bar in the east of the DRC.

Moreover, it appears that the recent attacks that killed Mozambican army soldiers were also in retaliation for the burning of the Koran in Sweden, because “Christians everywhere are considered Paludan’s brothers.”

On February 1, the ISIS-affiliated Mathani Foundation released a video titled “Kill Them Where You Find Them,” calling for terrorist attacks in Western countries.

According to the video, which includes clips documenting the Koran burning incident, Paludan harmed all Muslims but was protected by Swedish authorities who kept him safe.

Later in the video, a fluent English-speaking ISIS agent appears, believed to be in Syria, and asks that the “infidels” be harmed in any way.

He mentioned tools and trucks as weapons and any other tools in the hands of the would-be attackers: “Kill them wherever you find them. If you are a handyman, use a nail gun to nail the heads and cross them on woodwork.

“If you are a truck driver, chase them over until their streets are washed with their dirty blood, or pour oil on their houses while they sleep and set them on fire, so that the message [not to harm Muslims and Islam] will be burned in their minds.’

Later in the video, an old recording is played with the voice of Abu Muhammad al-Adnani, the organization’s spokesman in 2014-2016, who focused his propaganda on calling on Muslims in the West to kill “infidels” in their countries to make.

In the recording, Al-Adnani says that all “infidels” are free and should be attacked without distinction between civilians and security personnel.

The video also contains video clips documenting terrorist attacks committed or inspired by ISIS operatives on European soil.
