Finally, details for the second season of the critically acclaimed Wednesday drama are slowly emerging, and we now know for sure if actor Hunter Duane will be returning to the role of Tyler.
ET met Hunter at the Gold Meets Golden event in Los Angeles, where he opened the door for his character, Tyler, to what’s next.
“He’s coming back,” Duane said of Tyler’s fate in Season 2. “I can’t say anything more than that, but I’m so excited to be back.” The only other thing the actor said was that he hadn’t seen any scripts yet: “I’m not even hiding anything. I really do not know”.
In terms of what’s next for Tyler, Hunter said he hopes to explore two very different sides of Tyler – the monster and his real-life version (does this mean that the character has sunk into a really scary hideout and is actually really good at the man we met at the beginning..? )
“I’m really excited because now that Tyler’s mystery is out, I’m looking forward to season 2 to sort of explore his struggle between the beast and its real-life version. Still, she no longer has a mentor, Christina Ricci, so what will she be like? I don’t know”. Speaking of her, Ricci’s character’s fate is unknown, but Hunter hopes the actress will return as well.
