Paramount and Prime Video have one star pull Deal for the first international streamer outside of Canada.
Previous seasons of Star Trek: Picard And Star Trek: Lower Decks will be streaming later this month as the third and final season of Picard premieres February 16 in the US in Latin America and February 17 in the UK, Australia, Italy, France, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. South Korea will premiere at a later date. In addition to airing on Paramount+, Picard will also stream outside the US and Canada on Prime Video, while in Canada it will be available on Bell Media’s CTV Sci-Fi channel and streamed on Crave.
The move is a major coup for Paramount+, which is building its streamer outside the US
Star Trek: Picard in which Patrick Stewart reprises his iconic role as Jean-Luc Picard, which he played for seven seasons The next generation. Starring alongside Stewart are LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner, Jeri Ryan and Michelle Hurd.
The series is produced by CBS Studios in association with Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment. Season 3 is produced by Alex Kurtzman, Akiva Goldsman, Terry Matalas, Stewart, Heather Kadin, Aaron Baiers, Rod Roddenberry, Trevor Roth, Doug Aarniokoski and Dylan Massin. Terry Matalas serves as showrunner for the third season.
