The true story tells of the secret war organization of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Ian Fleming during WWII. The secret unit’s unconventional and “ungentlemanly” fighting techniques against the Nazis helped turn the tide of the war and gave birth to the modern covert operations unit.
The screenplay by Paul Tamasi and Eric Johnson, Arash Amel and Guy Ritchie is based on the bestselling book of the same name by war correspondent and historian Damian Lewis. Tamasi and Johnson launched the project and sold it as pitch to Bruckheimer and Paramount in 2015.
