Season 5’s COO left the company after alleged misconduct during the operational shutdown

EXCLUSIVE: Former Season 5 COO Tim Robinson, who recently left the company, has been fired following allegations of misconduct, Deadline can reveal.

Multiple sources tell us that shortly after being confronted with the allegation, Fifth Season investigated and struck a deal with Robinson that the two would split.

We understand the alleged incident where Robinson pulled someone’s pants down during a company retreat in 2022. It’s not clear what the context was or if legal action is pending over the incident.

Fifth Season and Robinson, who left the company last month, could not be reached for comment.

Earlier this week, Deadline broke the news of Robinson’s departure, but at the time the departure was described as an “amicable” departure. He worked for the company for four years. His COO duties are currently performed internally.

During his time as COO of Fifth Season, Robinson played a key role in the sale of the production company to South Korea’s CJ ENM by former parent Endeavor in 2022 and its recent rebranding as Fifth Season.

Prior to season five, Robinson served as COO for Talent Management and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver Production Company Avalon. Before that he was interim COO at Vertical Networks, Elisabeth Murdoch’s digital content company, and before that COO of Murdoch’s Shine Group.

Fifth Season was established in 2017 as Endeavor Content from production, sales and distribution resources of Endeavor, WME and IMG. Last year, Endeavor Content was spun off from Endeavor, which retains a 20% stake in Prodco worth about $1 billion. Korean media giant CJ acquired an 80% stake in the Fifth Season. Among other things, the company is known for shows Severance, See, Killing Eve, The Night Manager, Tokyo Vice and normal people.
