Mode In Seine-Saint-Denis, the locally engaged fashion app, will it be emulated?

Seine-Saint-Denis has launched its Mode In Seine-Saint-Denis webapp, which maps 80 fashion locations in the department: resource centers, designer workshops, second-hand shops, schools and training centers… An initiative that we would like to see all of France!

When you want to switch to a more responsible way of dressing, you don’t always know where to start. The best thing to do is wear what you already have for as long as possible, taking care of it, of course. But if you’re in need of a new piece, or out of interest in this area, a new app might appeal to fans of Parisian fashion: Mode In Seine-Saint-Denis.

Mode In Seine-Saint-Denis, the responsible style web app created in 93

Launched on January 17, 2023, this web application can be used from the mode.inseineaintdenis.fr site and allows you to consult a whole list of places located in the department, which contributes to its dynamism with style. Designer laboratories, incubators, integration projects, recycling centres, training: there are already 80 spaces committed to a more responsible fashion for people and the planet.

From the Hermès maison to Flaneurz skates, passing through the Casa93 fashion school.

Mapping responsible fashion for today and tomorrow

Since the application is participatory, we can therefore propose its structure, which will then be examined by the administrators, before being possibly added to the application. The latter aims to be as intuitive as possible and allows a search by category, keyword and geolocation.

So inevitably, faced with such an initiative rooted in Greater Paris, we are already dreaming of a Google Maps of responsible fashion extended to all of France!
