The girl was born with the help of a surrogate mother (she gave birth at 28 weeks). “I was in the operating room when he came. It was so small, smaller than my hand,” Priyanka admits in a new interview. “I saw what nurses did in the intensive care unit. They are doing God’s work. Nick and I were standing there when they intubated him. I don’t even know how they found what they needed (in his tiny body) to intubate him.”
“We spent every day with him on my chest, on my husband’s chest,” Priyanka says. “I didn’t know if he would live.”
She also responded to those who criticized her decision to apply to a surrogate mother for childbirth. “You don’t know me,” she said. “You do not know what I am going through. And the fact that I do not want to publish my medical history or my daughter’s medical history does not give you the right to invent reasons, ”the actress tried to explain.
