Yeti Television hires new series and executive producer Simon Greenwood
Wales-based independent production company Yeti Television has appointed Simon Greenwood as series and executive producer. An industry veteran, he has over 20 years of experience producing factual content for a range of channels, as well as expertise in the observational documentary genre. Before working in television, Greenwood worked as a broadcast producer and reporter, first for local radio before taking on roles at BBC Radio 4 and Radio 5. Greenwood made the leap into live television and was instrumental in producing a number of British programs including historic morning shows The big breakfast (channel 4) and This morning (ITV). He then moved to the BBC, where he was instrumental in producing hit series watchdog and crime observation. As a development manager, Greenwood has worked for the BBC, ITV, Channel 5 and Channel 4 and has recently produced series nightmare tenant and slum landlord, which was renewed for 5 series and shown on global channels and streamers including Netflix. He also produced Rich house poor house and Rich holiday Bad holiday for channel 5 along with Sarah Beeny’s new life in the country and Up to the castle for Channel 4. His role will be to support the growth of Yeti’s growing list of factual series and formats for clients including BBC1, Sky Arts, Channel 4, CBS and More4.
