If Philip Marlowe’s name sounds familiar to you, it’s quite normal: it’s just the famous private detective imagined by American writer Raymon Chandler, whose importance in crime literature no longer needs to be demonstrated. It is this character who Neil Giordanodirector behind Interview with a vampire or the series The Borgiaswill direct his new film.
If the trailer promises a good amount of fight scenes, Marlowe it also seems to have a well-crafted plot. The plot takes us to the forties, in the heart of California. While hired to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a man, Marlowe finds himself immersed among the most powerful personalities in Hollywoodand he will discover all that this world contains of secrets and tricks…
