Better late than never. This is what comes to mind upon discovering the statement by Alain Krakovitch, director of TGV-Intercités and president of the Eurostar Group, in response to the blocking of the militant account Pépite Sexiste, the association for awareness of ordinary sexism spread by marketing.
SNCF arrives in 2023, late, as usual
It’s never too late to reapply, if you’ll pardon the pun. On January 16, the Sexist Pépite account had pinned the SNCF group on social networks, to remind them that in 2023 only mothers could go to the changing tables on trains, and that their pictogram was a classic of sexism.

And this pinning worked, since Alain Krakovitch replied on his Twitter account, a few hours later:
I can only agree, it is (was) an archaic representation! The TGV-Intercités teams changed this icon some time ago in our area, but there are still around twenty trains (out of 312) which are also undergoing changes.
Following this declaration, he takes the opportunity to unveil the pictogram that replaces that of the woman changing the baby’s diaper, and which is replaced by a mere child :

A small victory, which will bring others, we hope.
