Russia has developed its first series of high-speed Poseidon drones believed to be capable of wiping out entire coastlines with radioactive tsunamis, it was reported today.
The weapon, believed to be capable of unleashing a 1,640-foot tsunami, is said to have unlimited range, although details of its unique 200-mile underwater propulsion system are a closely guarded Russian secret.
The development came as one of Vladimir Putin’s loyalists urged state television to “wipe Britain off the face of the earth” as it prepares to supply Ukraine with Challenger 2 tanks.
Retired general Andrey Gurulev claimed on Rossiya 1 that using British and German tanks “to kill us” was tantamount to crossing a red line.
He accused Britain of “getting arrogant” and warned that the country could be wiped off the map without using nuclear weapons, stressing: “We must remember London so they don’t try to steal our victory.” .’If it didn’t exist. , there will be victory.’

He also called for a first giant nuclear test on the arctic island of Novaya Zemlya “to shake the whole earth.”
His outburst against Britain came as Russia’s state news agency TASS reported the production of the “first batch of nuclear-armed Poseidon drones”.
Last year, another top Putin propagandist, Dmitry Kiselev, infamously told viewers that Russia should “throw Britain into the depths of the sea with its Poseidon underwater robotic drones.”
The Russian weapon is a large nuclear-armed torpedo capable of generating radioactive tsunamis that destroy enemy coasts.
In October, NATO was reported to have sent an intelligence briefing to its member states warning that Putin had deployed its 604-foot K-329 Belgorod nuclear submarine, carrier of the Poseidon.

A source told TASS today: “The first batch of Poseidon ammunition has been produced and will soon be delivered to the special nuclear submarine Belgorod.”
The same Russian military and defense industry source said that tests of nuclear components of Poseidon underwater drones, including the nuclear power plant, were successfully carried out.
Putin sees the Poseidon missile as the key to his attack on the West, it has been reported.
Gurulev – a mouthpiece for senior Kremlin hardliners – sees Britain as the cornerstone of Western unity with Ukraine.
He told state television that the expected deployment of German tanks had historical significance that would change the conflict.
“The appearance of German tanks on Russian territory is the cornerstone of any war,” he said, although – if the action continues – the tanks will be stationed in Ukraine for defensive use, not on Russian soil.
“Be ready as soon as Leopard 2 tanks arrive here [for full war],’ he said.
“Britain will supply 14 Challenger 2 tanks, you must take this seriously. It is against us, it is meant to kill us. These guys are going insane. They don’t have brakes.
“Should we use nuclear weapons? Why should we be ashamed to talk about our determination when Russian territory is threatened?’ he said menacingly.

While the pledge of 14 Challenger 2 tanks seemed modest, Ukrainian officials expect it will encourage other Western countries to provide more tanks.
Jens Stoltenberg, NATO’s secretary general, said Ukraine could rely on more heavy weapons following Kiev’s demands to its allies. “The recent commitments for heavy war materials are important – and I expect more in the near future,” Stoltenberg told Germany’s Handelsblatt ahead of a meeting this week of a group coordinating arms shipments to Kiev.
