The LAPD has arrested a man who allegedly tried to rob the childhood home of Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas O’Connell.
An LAPD spokesperson confirmed to EW that officers were responding to reports that a man had jumped over a fence and entered Billy’s front yard. The suspect, who was reported to have black on his face and was wearing a mask, was arrested on suspicion of theft.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the singer and her brother do not live in the house but still belong to their parents. It is not yet known what was stolen from the house or whether the suspect was at home when the police arrived.
Long ago, Billy said in an interview with Rolling Stone in 2019 that this address was leaked online and he had to hire security guards: “It was really traumatic. I don’t feel safe in my home anymore and it sucks. I love my home”.
