80% of French people want to reduce their clothing budget for 2023
As reported by the specialized media Fashion network, a study conducted by the consultancy firm Wavestone interviewed the French: 80% of them want to reduce their consumption in the clothing sector! Good news for their wallet and for the planet! The most saved budget would be that of food, which 67% of French foodies also want to reduce.
The study also finds that, together with Germany, France is the only country where the richest do not intend to consume more. Globally, 75% of French people say they want to reduce their purchases in 2023, all sectors combined. This is 7 points more than the average established taking into account France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States and China. Did you say inflation, health, social and political crisis?
