Far from being a novelty, thermal tights are taking over TikTok but they don’t suit all skin tones. Luckily, some fashionistas have found an even hotter runway show that darker skin tones can adopt.

Winter may have officially begun, but some diehards of skirts and/or shorts may continue to want to wear them, at the risk of making them curdle. If you hang out a lot on TikTok, you’ve probably come across a video extolling the merits of thermal tights. Far from being new, these are fleece-lined tights on the inside, with a black sheer effect on a beige background on the outside.

But some fashionistas have already found a solution to the conspicuous lack of inclusion in the colors of thermal tights. And the trick turns out to be even spicier!

Just put on a pair of fleece tights with or without a sheer effect, then add a pair of ballerina tights that are as close as possible to her real complexion, and put on a last pair of black sheer tights. So yes, there are plenty of layers to put on (and take off for every trip to the bathroom), but it’s always good to know if you feel like throwing on a skirt or shorts in cold weather.
