The next movie of RRR Star NT Rama Rao Jr. (aka NTR Jr.) is expected to begin filming in February and will release worldwide on April 5, 2024.
known as ‘NTR30‘ reunites the Telugu language NTR Jr. with director Koratala Siva, following their collaboration on Janath Garage in 2016 while Anirudh is on board to compose the music.
NTR30 is produced by Hari Krishna K and Sudhakar Mikkilineni under the NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts banners respectively. The team also includes Ratnavelu as cinematographer, Sabu Cyril as production designer and Sreekar Prasad as editor.
Plot details are being kept under wraps, but the film’s tagline is “When Courage Becomes Sickness, Fear Is the Only Cure”.
NTR Jr. starred in the role of freedom fighter Komaram Bheem RRRStarring Telugu superstar Ram Charan Teja and featuring Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn and Alia Batt in the cast.
He is also reported to be teaming up with Prashanth Neel, a director in the Kannada and Telugu film industry for a project titled NTR31. Neel has directed Kannada blockbusters KGF Chapter 1 (2018) and KGF Chapter 2 (2022) and recently titled a film in Telugu Saltwith prabhas.
Other big upcoming Telugu films expected this year are those of Meher Ramesh Bhola Shankar, with Chiranjeevi; To Rauts Adipurushstarring Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan and a sequel to the 2021 hit Pushpa: the rising.
NTR Jr RRR Co-star Ram Charan Teja is next set to star in a political thriller known as RC15directed by eminent Tamil filmmaker S. Shankar (Enthiran) and is currently shooting a movie called One RC16Buchi Babu Sana is directing.
