The presenter has opted for – together with her great friend and stylist Josie– a three-piece look to welcome 2023: a cape, a skirt and an inner piece of figurative art and body painting -as he announced during his visit to El Hormiguero- which is a dialogue between theThe claim of human rights and fashion.
Together with two Spanish artists and UNHCRthe UN Refugee Agency, has made this design Cristina Pedroche with which they wanted to give visibility to the reality lived by the people refugees around the world. Nowadays, more than 100 million men, women and children have been forced to leave their homes to flee war, conflict and persecution, and the presenter wanted to enlist the help of some of these people living in Spain to visibility to this situation in an event as often as the chimes.
As usual, Cristina Pedroche He has kept his style hidden until the last moment with an impressive cap, which has taken on even more meaning in this 2022. On this occasion it was one detachable three-panel jacket made on the bias and in patchwork with pieces of fabric from the tents that UNHCR offers as a shelter in different parts of the world.
This tent has become one layer of six square meters which has a whale internal skeleton that makes for an amorphous and interesting volume in the form of a globe which closes with steel eyelets and a recycled cotton cord. The complicated pattern design is carried out by Inigo Garaïzabal, a young designer who describes Josie as “the most interesting designer in the emerging scene thanks to his talent”.
Furthermore, this has been low adapted by more than 75 refugees in Spain coming from ten different countries and who have had the chance to capture this piece of textile your wishes for this 2023.
