‘We created chaos’: how Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck spent their first Christmas together

Jennifer Lopez talked about celebrating Christmas with her husband Ben Affleck and their families, and also shared why she chose such an exotic party theme.

JLo shared details of their first Christmas together as a “mixed family”, which includes 14-year-old twins Emma and Max, as well as Ben’s children Violet, Seraphina and Samuel.

“I’ve been sitting at home since I finished my last movie (and I love it), just getting ready for the holidays!” J. Lo sang before sharing this year’s Christmas theme, inspired by the song “Hummingbird” he wrote for his new album This Is Me… Now.

“For me, hummingbirds are messengers of love. They are also the fastest birds, but they always have time to stop and eat something sweet and smell the roses. I identify with them, but more than anything, whenever I see them, I feel like it’s a sign from God that everything will be okay. So this year I decided that the hummingbird would be the perfect theme. We united families, doubled the number of people, doubled the fun, doubled the love, doubled the gifts and caused chaos!!”

In addition to decorating the hummingbird tree, J. Lo decided to wear a dress in the colors of the bird: “This is a Gucci dress that I have in my closet, I bought it a year ago and was waiting for the perfect opportunity to wear. I thought it would be perfect for our hummingbird-themed Christmas party. ”

“For the first time in a long time, we were able to meet people we hadn’t seen in a long time. The party was full of family, friends, co-workers and people we’ve known for years. We sang, danced and had a great time!” said Jennifer.
